Kids Creative Workshop

Kids Open studio

Kids Creative Workshop is an open-ended session where children aged 3 to 5, and home-schooled children, are invited to use the materials in the studio to create their ideas at their own pace and in their own way.

Prompts are set up to stimulate creativity and staff are present to support ideas.  Parent and carers may participate by helping children achieve their ideas, without doing the work for them.

Kids Creative Workshop is about trying things out, making decisions, problem solving, and making connections.  At it’s core, it’s also about enjoying downtime where adults aren’t telling you what to do. Kids Creative Workshop allows children to be responsible for their own choices, materials and ideas.  It honors the process of the individual in a safe and inspiring creative environment.

The materials on offer include mediums such as: watercolour, acrylic, markers, pastels, cardboard, glue, glitter, beads, playdough...
