Crafting Stories is an open-ended session where children aged 3 to 5, and home-schooled children, are invited to listen to a story and then use the materials in the studio to create at their own pace projects relating to the story.
Prompts are set up to stimulate creativity and staff are present to support ideas. Parent and carers may participate by helping children achieve their ideas, without doing the work for them.
Crafting Stories is about trying things out, making decisions, problem solving, and making connections.
The materials on offer include mediums such as: watercolour, acrylic, markers, pastels, cardboard, glue, glitter, beads, playdough...
